What is Vitals for youth ministry?
Vitals for youth ministry is a biblical framework based out of Acts 2:42-46, that trains youth leaders to build a local church youth ministry focused on developing students into healthy disciples.
Acts 2:42-46
42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.

What makes Vitals different?
What makes Vitals different?
Vitals is root based, not fruit based.
Vitals is not just youth ministry “how-to’s”. Yes, there are tons of pragmatics found in Vitals, but at its core Vitals is a rediscovery of the biblical principles that built the early church found in the book of Acts. There are dozens of books and resources you can use to complement your youth ministry, but Vitals focuses on the essential core elements. We understand there are practical things that you can apply but vitals take us to the root.
Vitals is a movement from Attractional to Missional. It is a response to some of the failures of the Attractional Church Ministry Model upon which most youth ministries have been built. We come from decades of youth ministry experience and have seen first hand countless young people walk away from faith as soon as they graduate high-school because of an unhealthy focus on growing our attendance instead of discipleship.
The goal of Vitals is to come alongside your ministry and help you avoid some of the mistakes we made in our own ministries, or if needed, help you refocus how you are doing ministry completely.
